Atami EVA manufactures CNC and die-cut EVA, PE and XLPE foam packaging inserts, export crating protection, EV battery packaging, vibration damping pads and ESD-safe foam for electronics, medical, defense, energy and heavy equipment exporters across Europe. This page is the starting point for our full industrial packaging content and product range.
Industrial packaging buyers come to us with very different applications — a PCB manufacturer's ESD-safe tray needs are nothing like a heavy equipment exporter's crating requirements. Use the cards below to jump to the page that matches your application.

Precision-cut foam inserts for medical equipment and device packaging.
Custom foam inserts and cases for equipment requiring high protection standards.
EV battery pack protection and gasket-sealing foam for energy storage applications.
Custom cavity foam inserts protecting sensitive instruments during transit and storage.
Vibration damping pads and mounts for industrial machinery and robotics.
Heavy-duty foam protection for machinery and equipment exported internationally.
Shadow foam tool organization inserts for 5S and audit-ready toolboxes.
Versatile, closed-cell, good cushioning and cost balance. The default choice for most custom foam inserts.
Lightweight, chemical-resistant, cost-effective for general protective packaging.
Higher durability and better recovery under repeated compression than standard PE — suited to reusable packaging.
Static-dissipative foam grades for electronics and PCB packaging where static discharge is a risk.

| Process | Application |
|---|---|
| CNC routing | Custom cavity shapes, multi-cavity kitting layouts, tight-tolerance profiles |
| Die-cutting | High-volume repeat production of standard insert shapes |
| Waterjet cutting | Complex geometries and thicker material stacks |
| Shadow foam layouts | Tool organization and 5S-compliant toolbox inserts |
| Multi-layer lamination | Composite constructions bonding foam to rigid substrates or other foam grades |
See our CNC & die-cut foam manufacturing guide and CNC cutting tolerance guide for the engineering detail behind these processes.

What industries does Atami EVA supply industrial packaging foam to?
Electronics and PCB manufacturers, medical device companies, aerospace and defense contractors, energy and battery manufacturers, laboratory and optical equipment makers, and heavy machinery and export crating buyers.
What foam materials are used for industrial packaging?
EVA, PE (polyethylene) and XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) are our core packaging foam materials, plus ESD-safe and anti-static grades for electronics applications. Material selection depends on cushioning requirement, chemical resistance and cost.
Can you cut foam to a custom shape for my product?
Yes. We offer CNC routing, die-cutting and waterjet cutting for custom cavity shapes, shadow foam tool organization layouts, and multi-cavity kitting inserts to a tolerance specified in your drawing.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom foam inserts?
Standard runs typically start around 500-1,000 pieces or roughly 200kg of material, depending on thickness and cutting complexity. Smaller pilot batches can be arranged for new product qualification.
Do you supply ESD-safe or anti-static foam for electronics packaging?
Yes. ESD-safe and anti-static foam grades are available for PCB, component and electronics packaging where static discharge protection is required.
