Applications by Footwear Type

Midsoles

The midsole is the primary structural layer between the outsole and insole. Requirements: high impact absorption, shape retention under repeated compression, light weight. Specification: 80–150 kg/m³ density, Shore C 35–55, 10–30mm thickness.

Insoles

Insoles require a softer feel for comfort while maintaining antibacterial properties. Specification: 40–80 kg/m³, Shore C 20–35, 4–12mm. Smooth or micro-perforated surface options available.

Hotel Slipper Base (Fiyapa)

Fiyapa is the EVA foam base used in disposable hotel slippers. Requirements: hygienic, cuttable, lightweight, available in rolls for automated cutting. Specification: 60–100 kg/m³, 8–20mm, smooth surface.

Sandals & Slippers

Flexible, waterproof base that can be glued directly to the upper. Specification: 40–80 kg/m³, 5–15mm, diamond or bowtie surface pattern for grip.
